The 9084 tape cartridge autoloaders provide low cost backup solutions for software-controlled automatic disk storage backup on magnetic tape cartridges. They consist of an electromechanical cartridge changing system and one or more integrated magnetic tape cartridge drives. Their robotics with barcode reader allow fast cartridge inventory and administration without tape stress. The 9084 can be used as a desktop unit or built into 19" racks. The 9084-221F is connected to Fibre Channel.
