Capacity-packed system with up to 72 LTO slots
The Scalar 100 offers slots for 18, 36 or up to 72 LTO data media. One to six LTO drives can be installed. Increased performance and capacity is simply achieved by sliding in additional drives and tape positions.
This reliable partner for consolidation solutions in midsize enterprises or branch offices can also be integrated into SAN structures. The 14U-high models can be easily integrated into a 19-inch standard rack.
With the integrated barcode reader, optimal media management is guaranteed and fast, tape-friendly inventory of the data media in the storage slots assured. An easy-to-read LCD display continuously shows the status of the drive and media during operation. The Scalar 100 can perform head cleans with a cleaning tape automatically and without need for special application software or intervention by the operator.
