The compact L180 tape library has the capabilities required for today's mixed environments with a capacity of 84 to 174 cartridge slots and up to 10 drives. Different combinations of LTO or T9840, T9940 tape drives can be used alternatively. The L180 is extremely flexible in its scalability, choice of multiple technologies, true mixed media capabilities, high-availability options and most importantly - superior robotics with up to 450 cartridge changes per hour.
The high-speed Fibre Channel interface makes it ideal for attachment to Storage Area Networks (SAN).
